Shake me, I’m waiting

So.

Haven't written in awhile. Seems this whole moving buisness takes a bit of time. We just got the internet today. I'll try to write a summary of some of the things we've done, I suppose.

The weekend with Addison and Kaytlyn was teh awesome. We rented Marie Antonette, And that was pretty awesome. It also settled the question Katlyn asked - "I wonder if they show the beheading. I hope not." No, they didn't. It was still pretty cool. I actually can't remember much else going on, But I can't remember hardly anything anyways.

So then the movers came, And that was an interesting affair. Oh god, did I just type that? Anyways.

Movers... Moved all our crap, But this site went down the same day so after they were done we had to sit around (they had all our stuff, obviously, so we didn't really had much to do. I almost had a nap on the floor actually.) for awhile while mom and dad took care of some of that. I also have a good picture of the movers:

Do you have a licence to drive that washer?

So that was pretty funny. I like that theres a cop car in the picture as well.

It was pretty cold when we first got there, So for the first 2 nights me, Meaghan and Emma all shared a room. Whenever the movers brought our stuff over I was outside almost the whole day (because it was cold inside) and got a sunburn. So now I have more freckles.

We met our neighbors across the street. And this next part I'm pretty YEAH! about.

We have a neighbor named Earl. His wife's name is Rosella, so it's all good. There's a dam about 5 houses down from our house and I went down there one day, and there was a bunch of people there. Of course, as soon as I got there they all left so I went to go sit where they had been sitting (a picnic table, there was less bugs there), Then a guy comes out of the house they all went into with a puppy and a little girl. So they come over and the guy starts talking to me, And the whole while I'm just going "wow. This guy has a mullet. I just met someone who has a mullet."

Turns out his name is Arthur, he's got a bunch of kids (a couple are my age) and he lives just across the street from the dam. After awhile I go back home coz it's pretty buggy down there. About 10 minutes later, The little girl and a couple older girls come knocking on the door, As I told the little girl I had a sister about her age. The other two girls are best friends (Chelsea and Jenna), They're Meaghan's age and... there wearing matching outfits.

So they hang out for awhile and then go back home at supper time. There was a community barbeque a few days later so I helped out at that a bit, So we met a bunch more people from around here. I can't particulaly remember much else that happened.

Last weekend we decided to go to the green house, So we packed the car and went over. We cleaned, Worked on stuff, did things in the yard. It was a grand old time.

During drives we always manage to keep ourselves entertained. Mostly I listen to music, But I have also been known to roll the window down the whole way, Then utter a profound phrase: "I feel like a pony."

So now whenever the windows open Meaghan asks if I feel like a pony. Of course I do.

For today, Meaghan asked me if I wanted to walk to the convinence store because we needed baking soda. I said yes, and on the way back we sat near the dam and read a magazine I bought, and then Chelsea and a friend of hers came outside and went swimming. So I was talking to her again, And it was all boys, boys, boys, So Meaghan decided she was bored and left. I just sat there and listened mostly, Though her friend (Jamie) was pretty cool. I told her my dad is a computer programmer and she said to make sure her dad and my dad never meet, Because apperantly her dad will talk to anyone about computers. Wow, Sarah talks to 15 year olds.

I do have one of my 3 boxes of CD's here, And thankfully it's the 'I' to 'R' box, Which means I have all my Matthew Good/MGB and Radiohead CD's with me (I'm missing 'Kid-A' though, because it's in a different box...), So that's awesome.

I think mom's waiting for the computer.
