First up, Icons.

The Rules of the Même:

1. How much wood could, in your opinion, a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could, theoretically, chuck wood? (Be creative please)

However much wood the woodchuck decided to chuck.

2. What kind of a car do you want to have when you get your license, and for what reasons? (Offshoot: When do you intend to get you license?)

If I ever get a car… Maybe a hybrid. Good for the enviroment. I don’t particulaly intend to get a licence, Coz I’ll just be travelling alot to different countries.

3. List your top three favorite movies, give me a synopsis of each, and explain in detail what about them makes them your favourite.

I really liked Napoleon Dynamite, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and Garden State.
The first is about Napoleon. He’s out to prove he’s got nothing to prove. I just like it because of some of the stuff in it that’s just so stupid.

Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind is about a guy (Jim Carrey) who’s girlfriend (Kate Winslet) erases him from her memory. It’s really confusing when you first watch it, But when you get to the end, you understand it a bit more. I like it because it’s confusing, And it has Jim Carrey not being funny.

Garden State is about a guy who comes back home for his mothers funeral, but he hasn’t been back home for 9 years. I like it coz there are some parts I find really funny.

4. Where in the world, besides New Brunswick, have you been? Where would you like to go? Where, realistically, do you think you’ll get to go?

PEI, NS and Maine.

China, France… anywheres that needs people to teach english.

5. What would you like to do this weekend? Choose three things that you would enjoy doing, and list them in detail. Keep in mind we will be in both Fredericton and Saint John, and that we have a car that can get to places.

I want to go to a CD store because there’s 2 albums released in the past week (one today, one last tuesday) that I want.
We still haven’t gone to digital world.
Erm.. I dunno what else.

My mom made me an email.

Except I haven’t gotten any in 5 days.

That makes me sad.

My internet on the computer I use has been down this weekend. So I played lots of The Sims. I haven’t turned it on yet today to test it again but it’s probably still down. Oh well.

I AM EXCITED!

Why, you may ask?

Well. In case you haven’t noticed, I am a really big music fan (Or Music Nerd, If you will.). I am a fan of many artists but I am particulaly fond of Matthew Good, Radiohead and The Stills. I have all of Radiohead’s studio albums (I’m not including EPs, Live albums.), Unfortunatly I only have The Stills first full album, and I own all of The Matthew Good Band albums (Other than a copy of Loser Anthems, Which is a rare EP that only had 35,000 copies printed) All of Matthew Good’s solo albums (I plan on picking up his soon to be released newest one soon.), Including a deluxe edition of ‘In A Coma’, Which has all the music videos on a DVD, a second disk that has Acoustics, The rare Loser Anthems EP and Lo-Fi B-Sides. I also have a copy of Matthew Good’s book of short stories.

Matthew Good is coming to the Playhouse Theatre in Fredricton.

Which is about an hour and a half from where I live.

On a Saturday.

On October 13th.

My birthday is October 10th.

HELLO!

I mean really. One of my favorite artists.. on a saturday… not coming to a bar… 3 days after my birthday. Excuse me, I think someone wants me to go. I know if I did I would combust from unnatural amounts of happiness.

SCORE! YES! YES! YES!

I want to go.

I’ve been making some icons today, So I’ll post some highlights.

Feel free to steal, As long as you credit me (Just link back here ) Also input is good. I made a whole load of Spongebob ones as well (From the ‘Friend or Foe’ DVD, From the movie.. WE have part 2 of season 4 on DVD as well so I’ll probably make some from those.) as some more house ones, and I found lots of screencaps today for some shows, And if you wanna request anything.. lemmie know

Mom put all her stuff onto the Linux computer, so now me and Meaghan get to use this computer alot more. Hence the icon making.

Oh Spongebob, How amusing you are. As well as Patrick. “Did you see my underwear?” “No.” Did you want to?”

Speaking of Spongebob, A week ago I bought some spongebob stickers and they’re AWESOME. It has a sticker from the idiot box episode too… SCORE!

We went to the library.. Got books… We bought FOOD too. I keep getting ‘Vertigo’ by Marianas Trench stuck in my head now, Shaketramp not so much but it’s still super awesome. It reminds me of a couple of songs (Vertigo – The Libertines (titles, obviously), Anti-Pop – Matthew Good Band (“Give them blood and they’ll love you for it” “Vertigo, They’re calling out for blood”)) which are also awesome.

I’m going to start doing a list of 5 songs along with each journal entry, So you can check out what I’m listening to, That kind of thing. I guess I’ll start now.

2. Muse – Stockholm Syndrome A couple of years ago someone off a forum added me to YIM, and told me Muse was their favorite band, And earlier that day I had downloaded this song by them coz I heard it on the TV. They are currently the artist I have the most tracks by (I think there’s 60-70 maybe?).
3. Queens Of The Stone Age – Sick, Sick Sick
4. Alexisonfire – Rough Hands Their new single. I didn’t bother to listen to it until it came out, unfortunately. But that doesn’t mean I didn’t listen to anything else off that album.. ‘Drunks, Lovers, Sinner and Saints’ is awesome.
5. Justin Timberlake – Lovestoned Bringin the lulz. Sometimes it reminds me of a former co-worker that used to argue with me that ‘Sexyback’ was sung by a woman, Until we asked a customer. “You know that song ‘sexyback’?” “Yeah, the one by Justin Timberlake?”

Also I keep listening to ‘Shaketramp‘. Its awesome. The lyrics make me LOL.

And at some point I’ll be doing a post about a whole bunch of song remixes. It should be good.

We went shopping today. It was awesome. I went to this CD store called Spin it and it was amazing. I didn’t buy any CD’s there though, Coz I had already bought 3 from hmv (Muse – Origin Of Symmetry, Matthew Good Band – Last Of The Ghetto Astronauts, Marianas Trench – Fix me.) So I figured I was good in the CD department.

I got some shirts though.. one says ‘The hampster made me do it’ So that’s… great. I put more funny shirts on my wishlist. Like one that says “Ninjas know how to clean house” and “Procrastinaters of the world unite… Tomorrow.”

Also we bought the ‘Making Magic’ Expansion for The Sims. I’m excited for it. I saw Nick the other day, Which was wierd as we saweachother in subway. Apperantly he works at Wal-Mart now. He’s been saying he needed to get a job since before I got a job, So I guess it’s good he got one. I talked to Becky too. That’s more or less the same.  I can’t think of anything else to say now about that.

UPSIDE DOWN AND AROUND AND AROUND…  Sorry. I enjoy that song. loltastic, personally. I think I need to clean out some clothes now.

The other day I made a whole bunch of macros… So I’ll probably include one every once in awhile, Just for your amusment.

For awhile I was really into Deviantart and I came across some really neat stuff while I was there.

I originally came across this guy’s entry coz he had it linked in his signature, And it still makes me laugh. Because people still ask “oooh leik how can i b popular u no?” and sometimes people say ‘here, go read this…’ and link to the page. I actually ended up watching him (it’s like adding people to your friends list, if you don’t know.) and he commented on alot of stuff I had up. So it was cool.

This guy takes amazing pictures. I don’t know how much he posts now, but he has some awesome stuff up there. And he’s only my age. I favorited most of the stuff he did, Simply coz I couldn’t find one that I liked the most because there all awesome.

The person I got to know the best was Shawn, Though I haven’t talked to him in awhile and he Got a new account a looong while ago. He originally started out writing, And he wrote some amazing stuff, But every once in awhile he goes an deletes everything (Which I don’t understand – I’m a packrat.) So I’ve seen lots of things but they’re all gone now. He also didn’t seem to remember he used to be obsessed with lemons last time I mentioned it to him (Seriously – First time he commented me was to say hey, another canadian! have some lemons *onslaught of lemon smilies*).

Annnd….O HAI I MADE PEOPLE ICONS!!!1111873711!! It’s kind of surprising they’re still using them, as I haven’t been a really active member for about a year

Rambling over.

I got a list at The Things I Want, Just so people can buy me stuff (Actually, It’s so people actually know what I want.) Also, Yay clothes. I was thinking of adding books and stuff to it, But I already have my amazon wishlist (it has 100+ items on it), Which is handily located on the sidebar. Actually some of the stuff I found was a good deal (A hoodie that was 70 bucks, marked down to 10? yeah.) Though most of it would be better for birthdays/christmas.

I also changed my addresses on magazines I’m subscribed to… Sephora catalogs… You know. Random places that could send me free stuff. And the Sephora catalogs are usually purty to look at.

Tomorrow we head off to the old house for the week, so that should be… interesting. There’s usually not alot to do, as all our stuff is here, so… Lots of gameboy time. I’m hoping to maybe buy a new game while I’m in town (I still want Pokemon Yellow that came out for Gameboy Colour, Coz Danny had it and I used to play it all the time. Plus it’s awesome.), I also need new headphones. Badly. One of the earpieces keeps screwing off the thing that keeps it on your head, so that’s never good.

Anyone know of any sites that sell cool stuff that I should look at?

Kaytlyn and Addison got married! YEY! I got to see Addison in a suit. Congrats though, guys.

Also Kaytlyn brought me a mars bar and I must say it was very satisfying.

I’m kind of disappointed that the story ‘Television’ wasn’t on Matthew Good’s blog at any point because it was a favorite of mine. We went to the library and got the last Series Of Unfortunate Events book, and it was pretty good. I personally thought they’d all just die in the end (Coz that would be unfortunate), But I guess not. Sorry to ruin that for ya. I saw some of Live Earth yesterday and that was pretty cool. I enjoyed the guy from Doctor Who (He was in one of the HP movies aswell) introducing the pussycat dolls. Mostly because I enjoy snickering at fangirls (I really do, they’re usually very funny)

I also just realized I typed that all in and mom was still logged in. Whoops. And me and Meaghan are going to jam at some point (whenever I get strings for my electric), her on acoustic, Me on electric, and play some white stripes. Man, that’s a good song. I was also trying to find a tab for the newest song they released but I can’t seem to.

Oh. Just found it. Well, must be going blind then.
