Haven't written an entry in a bit... Well, Now I have stuff to write about.
Addison and Kaytlyn came up to visit on Sunday, and that was pretty awesome.. We went to DQ. Mmm, Ice Cream.
Remember in a previous post I mentioned if you joined Ourstage.com, you got a free flash drive? Well they come. I got mine in the mail today! On one of the forums I'm on, Someone got 1 yesterday and 2 today, so maybe I'll get more than one.. if I do, I had an idea... Sometimes mom and her internet friends send around a package, sometimes it's an art journal or stickers, and I had an idea.. send around a flash drive, put music on it.. people take off what they want, and put new stuff on it for whatever they took. Anyways, if I get another one I may do that along with the Mix CD exchange (which I haven't gotten any emails for yet...)
Anyways, OurStage flash drive filled with music:
Stuff that they said would be on it:
Animate Objects / El Dorado (Hip-Hop-R&B)
Ashleigh Flynn / Selkie (Country/Americana)
Chris Pureka / Swann Song (Country/Americana)
Henceforth / Back off Man! I'm a Scientist (Rock, But it sounds alot like Alexisonfire/Senses Fail.)
J-NAN / For U! Clean Version (Hip-Hop-R&B)
John Morgan / Ticket to the Circus (Electronic/Experimental/World)
Nico Stai / The Song of Shine and Shame (Acoustic/Jazz)
Oddway / Sunset Sunrise (Indie/Alternative)
Ryan Montbleau / Stretch (Acoustic/Jazz)
SB / I know Sean Remix (Hip-Hop-R&B)
The GoStation / All Together Now (Indie/Alternative)
The Old Ceremony / reservations (Indie/Alternative)
Tim Segreto / Lilly (Electronic/Experimental/World)
Tom Hamilton's American Babies / Invite Your Friends (Country/Americana)
Una / Fading in C# Minor (Electronic/Experimental/World)
Stuff they said would be on it, but wasn't on it.
Leah Rendazzo Group, The Matt Truman Ego Trip - these 2 were on it, but CDA format, which means I can't play them.
Stereophile track was also missing.
Stuff that was on it that didn't say it'd be on it:
Adrian Bourgeois / Mr. Imaginary Friend
Bacci / Same Ol
Dawn Over Zero / Take You Under
Douglas Fir / Revolution MP3
Massive Sigh / Hollywood
Plushgun / Just Impolite
The Little Heroes / September Falls
Wonderfool / Venus To Vertigo
All in all, there is some very interesting stuff on it. A little bit of everything, Though I didn't hear any electronic music (which I for some reason have been having urges to listen too...)
So... new music, flash drive... all good. Icing on the cake? Went to the thrift store I found this.. umm.. shirt at, and I bought it. Totally going on thrift horror (I'll link to it when I do.. trust me..)
I'm pretty excited though, Me gots a free flash drive... If you go on the site now, they're offering 12 free music downloads now, but I happen to still have the email that has the address as to where to put your address and get it sent to you... And if people emailed me about I just may be able to send the link along.
I had other stuff to write about, but now, all the excitement over this flash drive...

I just added a new page...
Yeah. It's about exchanging mix CD's with randoms on the internet (or not so randoms), Not that I need more music.
So... if anyone wants to exchange CD's, that'd be cool. Link is on the sidebar.
Also I'm linking from that page to this post so that if people wanna comment on it, they can go ahead. I might also store track listings on here too... hmm.

Yeah. I don't really have any socks now. For some reason I got through them REALLY fast. So I need to buy a new bag.. Maybe this weekend.
Last night I was working on some ideas for a mashup, Though I'd sort of stopped doing them for awhile, as you need A Capella versions of the songs along with instrumentals... makes it a slight bit easier than matching up the drums, guitars and bass in a song... So I was finding a song that had a part that was just drums (The Stills - Of Montreal, System Of A Down - Chop Suey, Matthew Good - Near Fantastica) that I could run on a loop, then play other songs that didn't have drums in them for at least a little of the song overtop (Emily Haines - The Maid Needs A Maid, The Exies - Hey You), Making a mashup.
I mean, it doesn't even have to be the whole song without drums.... any parts with singing that don't have drums in it, I could use. So I'm still searching for some ideas for that.
So this week we had some guests, People mom know on the internets, so that was kinda cool.
There was another food sale and we got 30 pounds of french fries, a case of frozen juice, and I think it was 48 little containers of apple juice.
Mmmm, french fries. And all the banana cream pie is gone now. Oh well.
Yesterday Mom got the car, And we went into town and did some shopping.. We went to the pawn shop and I got a Smashing Pumpkins CD. Mom got... *drumroll* 150 cartoon classics!
Now, the story behind this is that when Me, Meaghan and Addison we're kids, We had this tape called '50 Cartoon Classics', And it had really old cartoons on them, Like the original Superman and stuff like that. And it was my favorite tape. And Mom hated it, coz I watched it so much.. so she sold it in a yard sale. So now we have 150 cartoon classics. WOO!
I also joined a forum about TV, so that's pretty cool.
And they're playing The OC on MuchMusic everynight, so me and Meaghan started watching that too. I went online and looked at the fall TV schedule and made a list of what stuff we wanted to watch, coz I'm forgetful like that. Whistler starts on the 1st, so I'm pretty happy about that... hmm.. maybe I should make some icons...

I'm on a website that does surveys, sends out free products to test (if you're lucky), and sends you to websites that you post your opinion to. I'm all for free stuff, so I signed up, I post opinions on some of the sites (It's not really hard.. You don't have to write an essay. A sentence is fine.), and I have to reference people to the sites to get higher up on the food chain, so they will be more likely to send you stuff.
Basically, if you look at any of these sites, I'm more likely to get free crap. Like food. So if it looks interesting, click. I don't think you even have to sign up for me to get referral points.. just click.
OurStage.com
Sign up, they send you a free USB with music on it (Didn't get mine yet though)
The only problem is that they didn't have anywhere to put my address in. So I emailed them and got a link as to where to put my address. So this one could come.. hmmm...
Metacritic
Reviews. Tonnes of them. Music, DVD, Newly released movies in theaters, Books and games. I thought it was cool.
Netvibes
I believe it's an RSS feed for anything you can think of, including any email addresses you have (which made me think of Kaytlyn, coz she must have about 10.)
Threadless
Submit your T-shirt designs and they might print them. If you're looking for a 'different' t-shirt, I'd probably look there. Mom just wandered over and said this site is 'awesome'.
OkCupid
It's a dating site, but it's where I find loads of quizzes. So I just take the quizzes. It's a good thing for me you don't have to sign up to take them, either
Makeover-o-matic
Take a head shot, give yourself a makeover. I didn't personally try it... I just said it looked cool.
So, There we go... amuse yourself. If you're bored, there's some fun links to click with pretty colours (possibly)
EDIT: It's 6 now, and I just remembered that I forgot to say thanks.

So.. The reception was awesome. When we got there some of Kaytlyn's relatives were already there, So we helped out a bit while we were waiting for everyone to show up. When people started coming in, it was pretty loud. Kendra and Danny came too, which was really super awesome.. I haven't seen Kendra since I was about 10, And last time I saw Danny was 2 years ago. So I talked with Danny a WHOLE BUNCH and he gave me a hug, which was cool. Really super tight though. We talked about music and stuff, As usual. Then after awhile Chris and Korey came. I know the first thing I did was go over to Chris' Slayer shirt, cover the end of the y and go "LOOK! It says slaver!"
So then I talked to Chris and Danny quite a bit.. one of my favorite pictures of the night, just coz it's so.. hilarious is one of Danny hugging Chris. Yes. It is loltastic.
I got some comments on my hair too, Mam asked me how come I keep getting so gorgeous and I just went "Um.. I.. uh.. don't know?"... Also Grampy Adrian came which was REALLY AWESOME!
I know... too much 'awesomes'
Lots went on, lots of conversations, people coming and going... so it was great. I'm sure Kaytlyn will post a big long entry about it (And my mother), So I'm gonna stop here. May do another entry on it in the future.
On the drive home I listened to The Stills. Tim Fletcher, Why do you have to sound so good singing about nonsense? WHY? (SRSLY, Look at the lyrics for 'Of Montreal') Totally weird but I can only ever seem to listen to some songs by The Stills at night. Like Fevered. I listened to some Radiohead too. Mmm, Radiohead.
Oh, and I have PIE. Banana Cream Pie. I can feel you radiating jealousy.
For some reason I've had Marianas Trench 'Skin & Bones' stuck in my head. Why do you have to be so catchy emo? Why?
I'm bored. Too bad I don't have any email. And I'm banned from the forum that takes care of being not bored. Oh well.
I've been thinking about a friend of mine on the internet lately, He's in Iraq right now. Or at least I think he is, Haven't talked to him in a long while. Kinda worrying. And Danny said I look different. I personally think HE looks different coz I remember him from when he was 10 and we were the same height. He said I look different even from the last time I saw him. Oh well.
I saw some House promo shots today too. More House icons anyone? Maybe. Someone probably already made some. I haven't made icons for a few weeks. Maybe I'll make some macros... hmmm. Completely rambling here. So much fun. I'm reading a book but it's REALLY stupid. Maybe I'll re-read At Last There Is Nothing Left To Say. The story I currently read alot from it is 'Between Asleep and Awake There Is A Taco Stand Called Nothing. May I take Your Order?' It's pretty short. 2 pages in the book. About not sleeping, so that's always good. Lots of quotable quotes. For me anyways.
I wonder who actually reads this? I know Mom and Dad and Kaytlyn do, I think Lynn does sometimes and Addison. But still... I wonder who reads.
Anyways, I'm gonna go find something else to do now...

When I'm FINALLY about to do something of interest (Addison and Kaytlyn's wedding reception! dyed my hair! woo!), I am now going to present you with a music post. YAY! So I just went through my MP3 player, picked stuff that was interesting (At the moment, that seems to be loud) and away I went.
1. A Perfect Circle - Pet I managed to buy 2 APC albums for 4 bucks, Though at the time I couldn't remember if I liked them. I'm a fan now.
2. Matthew Good - Double Life This is a song I would LOVE to see live, But if I never do, it's still cool. But it's super, super awesome. Hmm.. I should make some of the lyrics my blog title..
3. Nickelback - Old Enough Never heard of this song? Probably because it's from pre- silver side up. I don't get why people like all they're new stuff... This song is better than most of the stuff I've heard from them for the past 2 albums (Except maybe Because of You.)
4. Pete Yorn - Strange Condition
5. Muse - New Born Mmm, Muse. Mmm, guitar. 1:24, if you were wondering where the guitar was.
6. Muse - Micro Cuts You can't tell what he's saying. Falsettos are awesome.
7. Nightmare Of You - Dear Scene, I Wish I Were Deaf What the hardcore My Chemical Romance fans listened to be to be cooler than everyone else.
8. David Usher - Black Black Heart 2.0 This is a song that was played on the radio alot, and oddly enough me and Meaghan both like. The original version (with female vocals) is what got played alot, but this is a bonus track for 'Morning Orbit' and it's more 'rock'. But it's still awesome!
9. Billy Talent - The Ex
10. Nickelback - Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting Hmm? How'd that get there?
11. Rinôçérôse - Cubicle Hooray, Free puretracks songs from who knows how long ago.
12. A Perfect Circle - Orestes
13. Client - Pornography No, I haven't seen the music video.
14. Death From Above 1979 - Blood On Our Hands So short.. So dance-y.
15. Death From Above 1979 - Romantic Rights More dance-y drum & bass action.
16. Matthew Good - I Am Not Safer Than A Bank Shortest Matthew Good song EVA!
17. Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Turn Into 'I know what I know'
18. Nirvana - In Bloom
19. The Stills - Helecopters One of my 2 favorite songs off Without Feathers (The other is 'Baby Blues'.) Why? Because it's the only one Tim Fletcher has vocals on. (Baby Blues has Emily Haines.) Plus it's awesome.
20. The Exies - Don't Push The River I originally got they're album for 'Ugly', but this song is awesome.
21. Alexisonfire - Rough Hands
23. We Are Scientists - The Great Escape They're songs are too catchy.
24. Breaking Benjamin - Polyamorous First song I heard from them. Still good.
25. Breaking Benjamin - Firefly
26. My Chemical Romance - Thank You For The Venom Around this time 2 years ago they were my favorite band. OMG SO EMO!
27. Muse - Stockholm Syndrome More Muse. Joy.
28. Alexisonfire - Boiled Frogs
29. System Of A Down - Violent Pornography Does it make sense? No. Can I dance to it? Yes. Should children listen to it? No.
30. Thornley - So Far So Good
31. Three Days Grace - Overrated I bought this album when I was 14, With money I got for Christmas. And I still like the whole album.
32. Theory Of A Deadman - What You Deserve
33. The Clash - Rock The Casbah Kaytlyn was amused when me and Addison sung this, but it's awesome. You can't not dance/sing when it comes on. It's against the law of physics.
34. Sum 41 - Welcome To Hell Ahh, the memories.
35. Nine Inch Nails - Only
36. Nine Inch Nails - Mr. Self Destruct
37. Metric - Combat Baby The first thing I noticed about this song is that it has one of my mother's internet usernames in it. No, she doesn't know this.
38. Linkin Park - Hit The Floor I remember telling a friend of mine that I really liked this song 'Because it's the loudest on the album.' Tru dat, homeboy.
39. Linkin Park - Papercut
40. Deftones - Change
41. Incubus - Megalomaniac I have 3 Incubus albums on my MP3 player and this song is still one of my favorites
42. Cold - Stupid Girl
43. Cold - Suffocate
44. Dirty Pretty Things - Bang Bang You're Dead Less mumbling than the next song, but same amount of Carl.
45. The Libertines - I Get Along This is hyper music. With Carl Barat mumbling.
46. System Of A Down - Aerials Mmm, Guitar.
47. System Of A Down - Psycho I have this song and Jonah from CB to thank for knowing how to correctly spell 'Psycho'.
48. Blink-182 - Reckless Abandon Coz I'm cool like that.
Now off to bed. Reception tomorrow.
Oh, and I dyed my hair. Box said purple. The dye was hot pink. Totally a conversation piece, as everyone thinks it's a different colour.
Oh, and I'll totally listen to 'In Love With A Bad Idea' on the drive. Totally.
Also expect pictures from the reception and possibly macros. Possibly.

Yay, quizzes! Now people have a chance to make fun of me!
Enjoy.
Your Score: Pure Geek
43 % Nerd, 56% Geek, 47% Dork
For The Record:
A Nerd is someone who is passionate about learning/being smart/academia.
A Geek is someone who is passionate about some particular area or subject, often an obscure or difficult one.
A Dork is someone who has difficulty with common social expectations/interactions.
You scored better than half in Geek, earning you the title of: Pure Geek.
It's not that you're a school junkie, like the nerd, and you don't really stand out in a crowd, like the dork, you just have some interests that aren't quite mainstream. Perhaps it's anime, perhaps it's computers, perhaps it's bottlecaps, perhaps it's all of those and more. Your interests take you to events and gatherings that are filled with people you find unusual and beyond-the-pale, but you don't quite consider yourself "of that crowd." Instead, you consider yourself to be fairly normal.
Which, you are.
Congratulations! You're the one on the RIGHT!

You are 44 Emo!
I know what you're thinking..."How can I be Emo? It's not possible!"
Everyone has a little Emo in them, just like everyone has some water in their body to live. This test isn't to take a message to your mindset and should not be taken seriously.
If you like your score though, way to go or...oh woe is you...you have such a tough life.
But check back on the Emo test often...for when a Emo question comes to my brain...it shall be added...

So everyone in our house is sick this week. Well maybe not everyone, but most everyone. I've been sick for the past 3 days, and I'm getting better so hopefully I'll be better by Saturday, as that's Addison and Kaytlyn's wedding reception.
I haven't really been up to much... lots of TV watching, less than normal internet usage... Although I did go online and show Emma a bunch of cartoons we used to watch when we were kids, and that was awesome.
I really wish I could play age of empires.

I need ideas for songs to play on the guitar... Couple conditions:
1. It has to be a song I know.
2. It can't be really hard to play.
Have fun!
Seriously though.. I'm up for about anything...

Music : Marianas Trench - Shake Tramp
All day. The internet was pretty spotty. I played a whole bunch of Pokemon Yellow though, and that was great. I also forgot to add that on the weekend, I bought Matthew Good's Hospital Music, The Marble Index's Watch Your Candles Watch Your Knives and Wide Mouth Mason's self titled album (Because it was 3 bucks, and I know mom likes them :D)
Also on the weekend I downloaded some more music coz mom wanted Amy Winehouse... So I picked up a few songs for myself... Highlights are:
Low Level Flight - Change For Me (You know the guy who one the first Canadian Idol? Yeah, this is his new band.)
Emily Haines & The Soft Skeleton - Rowboat (Off a new companion EP to 'Knives Don't Have Your Back'. I don't really like the horns in it, but the lyrics and singing are amazing as usual.)
The Caesers - Jerk It Out (I couldn't find this song for 8 months. I finally got back!)
So yes.. those are ones I keep listening to. Also I've been listening to hospital music a bit at a time, And I really like Champions Of Nothing (Even though it's almost 10 minutes long..), The Devils In Your Details (It's one of those songs where I really really love the title for some odd reason..), I Am Not Safer Than A Bank (I dunno? what do you think I should do) and Born Losers (To me it seems like it could be connected to Jenni's Song and the story 'The Night Opus'... Well that's what I though when I heard the first few lines)
I'm going to rip some more CD's to the computer tomorrow, Hopefully. Evanescence, Matthew Good Band, Bob Dylan.. I actually can't remember what else I picked out. But we are going to the library tomorrow too...
Oh, and Emma dyed her hair pink. It's ADORABLE. I'm also going to be dying my hair purple (again) in about a week. Last time I did was right after I was finished at subway.. I do miss the purple hair. It's great because it's not like "HOLY PURPLE HAIR!!", it's something you notice after staring at it for awhile. Because the first time I did it, everyone would go 'It doesn't look purple..' when they first saw it, then 20 minutes go "Whoa... your hair IS purple." Complex hair, I tell you.
I still though of stuff I should have downloaded while I had the chance as I was leaving Kaytlyn's and Addison's. But oh well. I already have 4,000 songs.
Oh I also forgot to talk about the bus drive.. for the first half, Nobody sat beside me but it was still pretty full.. the second half a guy named Niel sat next to me... he had dreadlocks. It was cool. (No, Kaytlyn, I didn't talk to him other than 'Nice hair.' and a name exchange.) Also whenever dad picked me up from the bus station we went to Wendys and I got a chicken burger. It was awesome.
I got Watermelon Licorice at the dollar store yesterday. It's amazing. Also the hair dye, another pair of flip flops... and in the groceries I got a pomegranate lipgloss. Woo.
Kaytlyn and Addison set a date for there reception, so that's pretty exciting as well... I think I'm going to wear my red sneakers. I love my red sneakers.
I never mentioned that before Addison and Kaytlyn got here last Friday me and Emma had a dance party in my room, Because I set my speakers up. It was pretty hilarious.. Highlights were dancing to The Fratellis 'Flathead' and Marianas Trench 'Shake Tramp'. Totally my type of dancing songs.. but then again, I am pretty weird. Upside down and around and around...
